What type of work experiences did you have prior to joining The Marketing Store?

I’ve spent 16 years working in commercial strategy and partnerships for broadcasters like MTV and Channel 4, tech startups like Shazam, and culture platforms like Boiler Room.

 

What’s in your headphones currently? 

I'm listening to Outliers by Malcom Gladwell and Spotify’s Run n Bass playlist (I became a lockdown runner).

Evolving

 

During your time at The Marketing Store, what work are you most proud of?

Ahead of any singular piece of work I’m most proud of the excellent team I’ve managed to pull round me, delivering both high impact, long term strategic partnerships as well as tactical activations for our client base. Whether they’re negotiating high profile F&B or entertainment partnerships on the O2 Priority platform or intersecting culture with adidas they make me look good every day for which I’m very grateful. 

 

What would the title of your autobiography be? 

WOOGLE: The art of knowing a little bit about everything 

 

Which person (dead or alive) would you most like to be stuck in an elevator with and why?

My all-time hero, Michael Palin. I grew up watching Monty Python and seeing him travel world. He’s sure to have a few good anecdotes. 

 

What's the best piece of career advice you’ve been given?

No one will remember how many hours you’ve worked or your job title, they will remember your character and the way you made them feel…

 

What’s your current side hustle?

I’m helping my wife setup CAMP Productions: a multi-disciplinary production company for the underrepresented. Check out CAMP’s new reel here!
