The Marketing Store London bolsters senior team with new hires
Today, we are excited to announce a number of new hires to our senior team, following a series of recent pitch wins.
Vanessa Tucker joins from Momentum Worldwide as Senior Creative where she led some of the agency’s largest accounts—American Express, SAP and ABinBev—as well as pitches for the likes of Jaguar Land Rover and The Premier League.
With over 16 years experience, Tucker’s background spans digital, social, experiential, ATL, shopper, and direct marketing across sectors including Tech, Finance, Beauty, Automotive, Sport and FMCG.
She will report to The Marketing Store’s new ECD Andy Taylor, who joined our agency in December 2019 from Iris Worldwide. Taylor is a multi-award winning creative with over 25 years experience across brands including Diageo, Unilever and Britvic. During his time at Iris, he played a critical role in the digital transformation of one of the now most effective marketed brands, Domino's Pizza.
Vanessa’s appointment follows former Head of Account Management at Mr President, Hannah Partridge, who joined the agency in March as a Director. Partridge, who has spent many years working both client and agency side across sport, entertainment and FMCG brands, is responsible for overseeing the Marketing Store’s growing portfolio of clients including adidas, Vue, BoConcept, Warner Bros, Petronas Lubricants and O2. She also leads the agency’s New Business team and reports to Managing Director Mark Watson.
Sam Woods also recently joined the business as Director of Partnerships to lead the agency’s newly won O2 Priority account, where he will work closely with Partridge to whom he reports.
Sam launched his career in various commercial and partnership roles at businesses including AOL, Channel 4 and MTV, before joining Shazam where he played a key role in setting up the business internationally, defining the commercial strategy and executing global strategic partnerships ahead of its sale to Apple. More recently Sam has held positions at Boiler Room and Soho House where he focused on building brand partnerships through the productization and monetisation of content, events and data.
Mark Watson, Managing Director, The Marketing Store Europe said:
“As a company that deals in the business of ideas, we know our people are our greatest asset.
That’s why I’m delighted to welcome Vanessa, Andy, Hannah and Sam to The Marketing Store’s close community of diverse talent and look forward to working with them all to help our clients get closer to their customers—and the results that matter.”
